48 Hour Film Project — Lisbon
The Brief
The 48 Hour Film Project’s prompts required a "misunderstanding" and a "fish out of water," and the film had to include a jar of coins and a doorman with a specific name. Working with the team, we had two actresses and a camper van at our disposal. I leaned into forbidden love and a Call Me by Your Name kind of register — things said through subtext and interjections that land well or badly. Calm, quiet, and not too obvious.
